About the Company

Tall Size is a curated ecommerce marketplace for tall women, bringing together brands that design for longer inseams and proportions. By centralizing multiple brands into one platform, Tall Size creates a seamless shopping experience for an underserved audience.

Challenge

Tall Size was managing a growing network of brands through manual workflows and spreadsheets. As they expanded their marketplace, the team faced challenges with fragmented inventory data, manual order routing, and time-consuming payout calculations across vendors.

Results

With Flxpoint, Tall Size automated vendor integrations, centralized inventory and order workflows, and streamlined payouts. The team can now onboard brands quickly and scale its marketplace without adding operational complexity.

“Before we had a system in place, everything was manual. We were relying on spreadsheets to track inventory, manage orders, and calculate payouts, and there was always this underlying stress that something could break or be missed. As we added more brands, it just became more and more complex, and it wasn’t sustainable if we wanted to keep growing.”

Tall Size is a curated ecommerce marketplace built specifically for tall women. What started as a personal frustration struggling to find clothes that actually fit, has grown into a platform that connects shoppers with brands designed for longer inseams and proportions.

Instead of creating their own clothing line, the founders took a different approach. They built a centralized marketplace where customers can discover and shop multiple tall-focused brands in one place, eliminating the need to search across dozens of websites.

As the business gained traction, Tall Size uncovered a clear opportunity: there was strong demand, but the infrastructure to support a multi-brand shopping experience for this niche simply didn’t exist.

To continue growing, they needed a scalable way to manage vendors, inventory, and order workflows across an expanding catalog.

Building a Marketplace in an Underserved Category

Tall Size wasn’t just launching another ecommerce store, they were building a new category.

Their customers had long been overlooked by traditional retailers, and even the brands that did serve them were often small, fragmented, and difficult to discover. Early on, Tall Size aggregated these brands into a single experience, but behind the scenes, operations were anything but simple.

Managing multiple suppliers meant juggling inventory updates, order routing, and financial reconciliation manually. Each new brand added more complexity, increasing the risk of errors and limiting how fast the business could scale.

At the same time, Tall Size needed to make onboarding as easy as possible for vendors, many of whom lacked the technical resources for complex integrations.

“One of the biggest things for us was making it easy for brands to work with us. Our partners don’t have to go through a complicated setup or manage anything manually."

The Challenge of Scaling Multi-Vendor Operations

Before implementing Flxpoint, Tall Size relied heavily on manual workflows to manage its marketplace.

Inventory tracking was inconsistent across brands, order routing required hands-on coordination, and monthly payouts involved time-consuming calculations. As the number of vendors grew, so did the operational burden.

The team was spending more time managing backend logistics than focusing on growth.

At the same time, the marketplace model introduced additional complexity. Each order needed to be routed to the correct vendor, inventory needed to stay accurate across multiple sources, and financials needed to account for commissions, shipping differences, and vendor payouts.

Without a centralized system, scaling efficiently wasn’t sustainable.

Automating Vendor Integrations and Marketplace Operations

Tall Size implemented Flxpoint to bring all supplier integrations, inventory data, and order workflows into a single platform.

By connecting their Shopify storefront to Flxpoint, they created a centralized backend that could support a growing network of brands without adding operational overhead.

One of the most important capabilities was ease of integration. Vendors could connect quickly through existing ecommerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, or WooCommerce, allowing Tall Size to onboard partners without requiring technical lift on either side.

This created a unified system where inventory syncs automatically, orders are routed to the correct vendor, and financial calculations are handled in the background.

“Flxpoint completely changed how we operate day-to-day. Things that used to take hours or required constant double-checking now just happen automatically. I’m not worried about missing payouts or making mistakes anymore, which has given us the confidence to grow the marketplace without worrying about the backend breaking.”

Improving Operational Efficiency and Confidence

With Flxpoint in place, Tall Size replaced manual processes with automated workflows.

Inventory is now synced in real time across vendors, reducing the risk of overselling or stock discrepancies. Orders are automatically routed, eliminating the need for manual coordination. Monthly payouts are calculated within the system, removing the need for spreadsheets and reducing the risk of errors.

This shift not only improved efficiency but also gave the team greater confidence in their operations.

Turning Operational Efficiency into Growth

With a scalable backend in place, Tall Size was able to focus more on growth and customer experience.

One of their most impactful initiatives was launching in-person pop-up events. These temporary retail experiences allowed customers to try products from multiple brands in one place, addressing common concerns around fit, quality, and sizing.

Customers could try items in-store and complete their purchases digitally through the Tall Size platform, blending physical retail with their marketplace model.

The results were significant. Pop-ups drove strong conversion rates, increased average order value, and built trust with new customers.

“We’re not just trying to build another ecommerce store. The goal is to create a true ‘tall size’ category, something that people recognize the same way they do petite or plus. There’s a huge opportunity there, and we want to be at the center of it.”

Expanding the Marketplace and Defining a Category

As Tall Size continues to grow, expanding its network of brands remains a key focus. At the same time, the company is exploring opportunities to introduce its own products to fill gaps that existing brands don’t address.

Their long-term vision goes beyond simply operating a marketplace. They are working to define and grow the “tall size” category itself, bringing more awareness, more brands, and better options to an underserved audience.

With a flexible backend powered by Flxpoint, Tall Size can continue scaling its platform without increasing operational complexity.
