But with hundreds of thousands of SKUs spread across warehouses, dropship partners, and print-on-demand suppliers, their previous platform was holding them back. Visibility was lacking, manual work was piling up, and SKU-level profitability across multiple channels was nearly impossible to track.

Inventory updates had to be done manually. Every other month, their team would rebalance SKUs between internal warehouses. If a single supplier ran out of a print-on-demand SKU, that could impact thousands of live listings—each of which had to be manually located and updated or unpublished.

What’s more, their platform had become static. It didn’t support the kind of development velocity or customization they needed to evolve. As a result, stockouts led to customer service issues, and data gaps meant the team couldn’t always compute profitability per item or transaction.

Their wishlist was extensive: real-time product control, flexible order routing, SKU-level visibility, and custom automation per channel. It was time to find a platform that could match the complexity of their clients’ ecommerce operations.

Once onboarded, the impact was immediate. Flxpoint allowed them to streamline how products were filtered, updated, and removed across all their connected storefronts. They no longer had to scramble when SKUs went out of stock—one filter could locate all affected listings and trigger the necessary updates across BigCommerce, Shopify, and beyond.

“Flxpoint’s speed is just faster than anything I’ve seen. The ability to instantly sort tens of thousands of SKUs is hands down miles and miles above the functionality we had before,” says Matt.

They also started seeing a significant return on time.

Flxpoint is solving manual processes that take actual people days to complete. Automating even the smallest of tasks adds up, which can easily save a day of a person’s time and prevent the need to hire an employee during a growth stage. “Flxpoint is worth a person at least in the first six months, which is more than the cost we’re paying for the platform,” says Matt.

The team estimates that Flxpoint has saved them “at least a day’s worth of time per week across operational, customer service, and other manual processes.” And the payoff isn’t just time—it’s strategic clarity.

“It’s hard to compare before and after because of the understanding we’ll have of the business now versus what we had before—we didn’t know what we didn’t know,” Matt shares.

Looking ahead, The Wildflower Group is excited about the evolution of Flxpoint’s owned inventory features. Previously, their team would build products in Shopify and then sync them into Flxpoint. With new tools, they can create and manage products directly inside the platform.
