Company Overview

FBA Fox is a wholesale distribution platform that connects Amazon FBA sellers with the products, knowledge, and support to grow their Amazon inventory and sales. 

With over 500,000 ready-to-ship SKUs, FBA Fox provides one of the largest product catalogs aimed at solving FBA seller-specific needs such as sourcing winning products, third-party pack and prep logistics, and wholesale shipments directly into Amazon. 

The Challenge

In the early days, FBA Fox was like many determined startups that focus on delivering value to their customers over internal operational efficiencies. Mission critical processes, such as integrating product data, updating inventory, and placing orders, were extremely labor intensive. 

As FBA Fox grew their supplier network and customer base, they quickly realized that these manual processes would become impossible to maintain at scale. 

The initial solution used Shopify to manage products and inventory, which was short lived due to Shopify’s 50k SKU and 1,000 daily product adjustment limitations. To overcome this obstacle, they decided to build their own Product Information Management (PIM) solution and manage the files on their own.

While file management was a big pain point, their biggest need revolved around providing a self-service portal for their sellers to view products and place orders… 

The Solution

Flxpoint’s data integrations allowed FBA Fox to aggregate and organize over 500k products from 17 suppliers into a centrally managed product catalog including a way to link products across multiple suppliers and sync inventory availability.

But creating a centralized product catalog was only a means to an end. Flxpoint’s Dealer Portal gives FBA Fox’s customers a self-service solution for exploring products, viewing inventory, and—most importantly—placing orders which can be routed directly to their suppliers for fulfillment.
